Mechanical Engineer does all types of engines, compressors, boilers, pistons, cranes, computers.. and helps develope those. The other specializes in autos, and mostly maintaining or fixing them.
anything mechanical related to a car…could be as simple as designing the locks for the trunk….or the mechanism for the glove box…could be as complicated as designing the transmission…braking system or steering system…anything mechanical relating to a car. even seat belts and air bags…may work in conjunction with other types of enginering specialities….
